Logistics Analyst – R-Supply Unit – Gulfport, MS
Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) to support the USFFC Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) contract within Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, N41 activities in Gulfport, MS. The SLA will assess, identify performance gaps, provide analysis, and initiate solutions to resolve supply discrepancies. This role heavily utilizes R‑Supply (Patriot) and the Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP) for training and resolution processes, as well as various Navy logistics websites to analyze data.
TheOpportunity
The SLA will provide R‑Supply (Unit Level) assistance and training to Supply Department / Stock Control divisions at NECC-assigned commands. Customized training will be conducted over‑the‑shoulder, remotely via email or phone, or in a classroom setting, supporting pre‑deployment preparations, Supply Management Inspections (SMI), Supply Management Assessments (SMA), Post‑SMA Training events, and other requested topics.
The SLA will monitor and update R‑Supply (Unit Level) training curriculum and facilitate R‑Supply training seminars covering all aspects of R‑Supply used by Logistic Specialist (LS) personnel within NECC.
Qualifications- Current DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related discipline, or eight years of “hands‑on” experience in Navy automated supply/maintenance management (training at Navy schools counts as hands‑on experience)
- Seven to nine years of experience in Navy automated supply, logistics, inventory management, financial management, and system functionality (eight years preferred)
- Extensive experience with NTCSS (R‑Supply Unit Level) software from a Stock Control manager perspective
- Expert level knowledge of MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- High character, strong desire to train Navy Logistics Specialists, and ability to work independently to meet contractual requirements
- Familiarity with NECC Navy Supply and maintenance relationships, organizations, and databases
- Former U.S. Navy Chief/Senior Chief Logistics Specialist with tours in Naval Construction Force, EOD, or Coastal Riverine communities; or on board FFG/DDG/CG class ships
- Strong understanding of OMMS‑NG configuration and ILS support processes (ASIs, ACRs, FCFBRs)
- Exceptional verbal and writing skills for individual and group training and independent communication with NFL team representatives at NECC leadership
