Position Overview:
Seemann Composites, Production Planning Clerk is responsible for supporting the coordination and expediting of work and materials within or between departments of Seemann Composites according to the master production schedule.
- Review and distribute Manufacturing Inspection Procedures (MIP) to the production floor and monitor the workflow of each until work is complete and components are shipped.
- Support all departments through the distribution of material, stock requisitions inputs, kitting and updating the MIP Tracking log and any other duties as assigned.
- Retrieve all executed Stock Requisition s and input them into the Deltek Cost Point Material Control System
- Distribute Manufacturing Inspection Procedures to the Production Team Leads as required.
- Collect all completed Manufacturing Inspection Procedures and update MIP Tracking Log
- Support the movement and kitting of all materials needed to support each programs fabrication schedule.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands
- Support the planning of production commitments and timetables for business units, specific programs, and/or jobs, using sales forecasts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus. More specifically, Microsoft Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements
Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
