Sales - Assistant Store Manager

At Russell Cellular, our Assistant Store Managers play a critical role in the success of the store by supporting the Store Manager, developing team members, and helping drive sales performance and operational excellence.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll lead by example as an active seller while helping oversee daily store operations, coaching Wireless Specialists, and creating a positive, high-performing team environment.

Compensation includes a $
13.00 per hour base rateplus uncapped commission. While average earnings are up to $
18.00 per hour, there is no cap on commissions, allowing high performers to increase their earnings beyond the average.

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a team of Wireless Specialists.
• Actively sell Verizon products and services while meeting individual sales goals.
• Help drive store performance by reinforcing sales behaviors, coaching team members, and ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Conduct sales observations, performance coaching, and developmental training with team members.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping review, and maintaining appropriate store coverage.
• Support inventory management, including receiving shipments, inventory counts, device security checks, and inventory audits.
• Help reconcile cash deposits and maintain accurate operational records.
• Assist with resolving escalated customer concerns and billing issues while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Serve as the acting leader in the Store Manager's absence.

• Previous retail sales experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
• A passion for helping others succeed and creating a positive team culture.
• Proven ability to achieve sales goals and influence team performance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, as business needs require.
