Job Description:
As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs for a variety of commercial and residential properties. You will be expected to troubleshoot, diagnose issues, and provide quality service in accordance with industry standards and local plumbing codes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings
- Diagnose plumbing issues, offer effective solutions, and perform necessary repairs
- Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations
- Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local regulations and codes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient job completion
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Stay up to date on plumbing techniques, trends, and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed plumber
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and local codes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments, including commercial sites
Qualifications:
- Experience in both commercial and residential plumbing
- Knowledge of energy-efficient plumbing systems
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
