Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Gulfport, Mississippi. The Account Coordinator's duties consist of:
- Build and enter load details accurately into our transportation management system (TMS)
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with shippers, receivers, and carriers
- Track shipments from origin to destination, providing timely updates and resolving issues as they arise
- Communicate regularly with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide administrative support including document collection (BOLs, PODs), data entry, and load updates
- Assist account managers and sales reps with day-to-day operational tasks
- Help maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal processes
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong Multitasking and Time Management Skills in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional Customer Service abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and driven to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
