Human Resources Manager II – Pilgrim’s – Guntersville, AL

General Summary

This position plans and administers HR policies throughout all phases of HR activity, acting in a supervisory capacity as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees for salaried and hourly positions; plan and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Maintain records of benefits plans.
  • Coordinate management training.
  • Oversee and administer complex compensation programs.
  • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee‑related issues.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administer benefits programs.
  • Provide HR leadership to the management team.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in HR management or supervision.
  • Broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • General knowledge of benefits and compensation administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, HR‑SAP).
  • Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or equivalent; or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and training.

  • Base Salary range of $120,000 +/- based on experience.
