Human Resources Manager II – Pilgrim’s – Guntersville, AL
General SummaryThis position plans and administers HR policies throughout all phases of HR activity, acting in a supervisory capacity as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
- Recruit, interview, and select employees for salaried and hourly positions; plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Maintain records of benefits plans.
- Coordinate management training.
- Oversee and administer complex compensation programs.
- Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee‑related issues.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administer benefits programs.
- Provide HR leadership to the management team.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in HR management or supervision.
- Broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- General knowledge of benefits and compensation administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Technical proficiency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, HR‑SAP).
- Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or equivalent; or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and training.

- Base Salary range of $120,000 +/- based on experience.
- Incentive Pay: eligible to participate in the company's annual bonus plan; bonus amount varies subject to standard terms and conditions.
