Junior Accountant – Real Estate

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries for real estate projects.
- Assist in project-wise accounting, vendor payments, and expense booking.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in GST compliance (data preparation, returns, ITC reconciliation).
- Support TDS compliance including deductions, challans, and return filings.
- Maintain records for customer advances, construction costs, and inventory.
- Assist in preparation of MIS, trial balance, and audit schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for documentation and compliance.
- Technical Skills
- Basic Real Estate Accounting & Project Costing
- GST & TDS Working Knowledge
- Accounting Software (Tally / ERP systems)
- MS Excel (data entry, reconciliations, basic reports)
- Understanding of RERA documentation (preferred)
- Desired Profile
- 5+ years of experience in real estate / construction accounting.
- Commerce graduate or accounting professional (B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA preferred).
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and meet compliance timelines.
Preferred
- Experience working with real estate developers or construction companies.
- Exposure to multi-project or site-based accounting.
