Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day and project-wise accounting for real estate projects (residential/commercial).
- Manage project accounting, cost tracking, WIP, inventory, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare monthly MIS, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheets.
- Handle GST compliance (returns, reconciliations, ITC) and TDS compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits.
- Manage customer advances, vendor payments, escrow accounts, and bank reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and RERA requirements.
Technical Skills
- Real Estate Project Accounting
- GST in Real Estate (ITC, RCM, joint development basics)
- TDS & Direct Tax Compliance
- Revenue Recognition (POCM / Completed Contract)
- Ind AS / Accounting Standards (basic working knowledge)
- ERP & Accounting Software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel (MIS, reconciliations, pivot tables)
Desired Profile
- 10+ years of experience in real estate / construction / infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting and statutory compliances.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and consultants.
Preferred
- Experience working with real estate developers or project-based entities.
- Exposure to RERA reporting and multi-project accounting.
