We are hiring an Admissions Counsellor – US Medical Programs to support student recruitment for a U.S.
-based medical college. This role is focused on counselling Indian students aspiring to pursue medical education in the United States & the Caribbean.
This is a specialised counselling role, requiring prior exposure to US medical pathways and the ability to guide students and parents through complex, high-stakes academic and career decisions.
The role suits professionals who have worked with education agencies or universities and have hands-on experience counselling students for US medical programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents on US medical education pathways, program structures, eligibility, and career outcomes
- Guide students through the admissions journey including program selection, application process, timelines, and enrolment closure
- Drive student conversions from enquiry to confirmed enrolment through structured follow-ups and consultative counselling
- Handle inbound and outbound leads generated via digital campaigns, referrals, education fairs, and partner networks
- Address parent concerns related to academics, career prospects, investment, and long-term outcomes
- Participate in education fairs, webinars, and outreach initiatives targeting medical aspirants
- Maintain accurate lead records, counselling notes, and conversion status on CRM systems
- Track counselling performance, application movement, and enrolment metrics
- Stay updated on US medical admissions requirements, program changes, and compliance norms
- Coordinate with internal teams and university stakeholders to ensure a smooth applicant experience
Mandatory Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience counselling students for US medical programs
- Prior experience with an education agency or university handling US university admissions
- Strong understanding of medical education pathways for the US
- Proven ability to manage parent-student counselling conversations
- Demonstrated conversion orientation with experience closing admissions
- Experience working with CRM tools (Lead Squared, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English (Hindi or regional languages a plus)
