Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to Grades XI and XII as per CBSE syllabus and academic calendar.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.
- Conduct practical sessions in Physics laboratory ensuring safety protocols.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive exams (e.g., JEE/NEET – basic conceptual support).
- Integrate experiential learning, ICT tools, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design and conduct periodic tests, term examinations, and practical assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as per CBSE norms.
- Analyze student performance data and implement improvement strategies.
Classroom & Student Management
- Maintain discipline and create an engaging learning environment.
- Provide mentoring and academic counseling to students.
- Identify slow learners and advanced learners and plan differentiated instruction.
Laboratory Management
- Maintain Physics lab equipment and ensure safe usage.
- Prepare lab manuals and practical records.
- Coordinate lab audits and inventory management.
Co-curricular & Institutional Duties
- Participate in school assemblies, science exhibitions, Olympiads, and club activities.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and science fairs.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programs, and CBSE training workshops.
- Perform examination duties and other responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics).
B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
- Qualified in CTET/TET (if applicable as per state/CBSE norms).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes (preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum, assessment pattern, and board guidelines.
