About the Role
The School of Computer Science & Engineering at BML Munjal University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor from candidates with strong academic backgrounds, research potential, and a passion for teaching.
The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and institutional development of the university.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and related areas.
Develop course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and evaluation methods.
Conduct lectures, tutorials, labs, and project supervision.
Ensure high-quality teaching aligned with the university’s academic standards.
Research & Publications
Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
Apply for research grants, funded projects, and industry collaborations.
Supervise student research projects and innovation initiatives.
Student Mentoring
Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic and career development.
Guide capstone projects, internships, and innovation activities.
Curriculum Development
Contribute to curriculum design and periodic revision aligned with emerging technologies and industry needs.
Introduce interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Institutional Service
Participate in departmental committees and university academic activities.
Contribute to seminars, workshops, conferences, and outreach programs.
Support accreditation, rankings, and institutional initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / related discipline from a recognized university.
Strong academic record throughout.
Demonstrated research potential with publications in reputed journals/conferences.
Prior teaching or research experience is desirable
