Coordination/Support Junior Engineer
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Coordination/Support Junior Engineer will assist in facilitating technical and administrative coordination between design, construction, planning, procurement, and project control functions on a high-rise residential project located in Gurugram, India. The project includes 8 luxury apartment towers with a built-up area of approximately 690,000 m². Reporting to the Coordination/Support Engineer, this position will support documentation, issue tracking, meeting support, and general coordination in line with the Scope of Work assigned to SCT.
The role provides a hands-on entry point into integrated project delivery support, offering cross-disciplinary exposure and requiring diligent communication and document management skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIITES :
- Assist in organizing and documenting technical and coordination meetings across project departments.
- Maintain logs for action items, RFIs, submittals, and issue trackers as assigned.
- Support the compilation and formatting of internal reports, presentations, and submission packages.
- Follow up with relevant teams to track updates, gather data, and consolidate input.
- Update project tracking sheets and digital dashboards under the supervision of the senior coordination team.
- Coordinate document flow and filing between design, contracts, construction, and client support teams.
- Participate in monitoring deliverable submissions and maintaining version control.
- Assist in drafting communication letters, meeting minutes, and coordination notices.
- Learn and apply PMIS or document control platforms in support of real-time reporting.
- Provide general support to the Control Manager’s office and assist with team logistics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in coordination or project support roles on construction projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic familiarity with PMIS or document control systems is an asset.
- Good understanding of construction workflows and interdisciplinary communication.
- English and Local Language is Mandatory.
- Willingness to work full-time at the project site in Gurugram, India.
