We are building Ruokamill, a science-backed nutrition brand focused on real nutritional requirements across age and gender, not generic supplements.
This is an in-house performance marketing role, not an agency coordination role.
You will own Google & Meta performance end-to-end, working closely with the founder, designers, and internal team. This role requires not just performance skills, but a clear understanding of nutrition-led products and advertising compliance.
Mandatory Requirement (Read Carefully)
This role is strictly for candidates who have worked in the health / nutrition / wellness space and understand advertising compliance.
We are not looking for someone who has only run ads for fashion, electronics, or generic D2C brands.
You must:
- Understand nutrition-led products (ingredients, benefits, positioning)
- Be aware of what can and cannot be claimed in health & wellness advertising
- Be comfortable working within compliance boundaries (no disease claims, no misleading promises)
Candidates without prior exposure to this category will not be considered.
What You Will Do
- Plan, execute, and optimise Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads
- Own campaign structure, audience strategy, budgets, and scaling
- Translate nutrition-led benefits into compliant, high-performing ad angles
- Actively test creatives, hooks, and messaging with in-house designers
- Build and optimise funnels (cold → warm → conversion)
- Track performance clearly (CAC, ROAS, CTR, CPA, learning insights)
- Share weekly insights on what’s working, what’s not, and why
- Ensure all communication remains brand-safe and compliance-safe
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 4-6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience
- Prior experience in health / nutrition / wellness / FMCG nutrition brands
- Strong working knowledge of both Meta and Google
- Clear understanding of advertising compliance in the nutrition category
- Has owned budgets and performance numbers directly
- Comfortable working closely with a founder who is deeply involved
Good to Have
- Experience with D2C nutrition brands
- Ability to explain performance decisions logically, not just report numbers
- Experience working with in-house creative teams
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a generic performance role across random categories
- Not a role for someone unfamiliar with nutrition or compliance
- This role requires thinking, not just execution.
