The Enterprise Solutions Technology division includes workflow solutions across Lending, Reg & Compliance, Global Markets and Software business. Enterprise Solutions provides industry-leading set of integrated tools, solutions and data services that help our clients make efficient investment decisions, operate with greater efficiency, and provide transparency across their business and to their key stakeholders.

We are seeking a Sr.Leader (Architect) to work across delivery pods within a segment, partnering closely with segment technology leads, senior engineers, and product teams to ensure systems are designed and built correctly.

This is a hands-on architecture and engineering role, not a governance or review-only position. The role exists to ensure architectural decisions are grounded in real implementation constraints, carried through into code, and result in systems that perform reliably in production.

You will work, day to day with delivery pods to shape designs, review and write code where needed, and resolve complex technical issues. You will be involved early in design discussions and remain engaged through build, release, and production operation.

You will step in on complex integrations, performance issues, failures, and incidents, helping teams stabilize systems and improve them based on real production behavior.
You will operate across multiple pods within a segment, influencing design and delivery through hands-on contribution, technical review, and earned credibility rather than formal authority.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
(This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $177,036 to $266,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

Responsibilities:

· Deep hands-on experience in one or more financial-services domains, such as public or private markets, syndicated lending, securities processing, counter party or client lifecycle management, or regulatory reporting.

· Strong understanding of end-to-end workflows relevant to those domains (e.g. trade lifecycle, processing, reporting, reconciliation), and how data moves through systems.

· Experienced in building medium to long term technology roadmaps and strategy

· Experience integrating and operating AI /ML, or agent-enabled components as part of broader systems, with attention to reliability, explainability, operational controls, and failure modes.

· Experience designing systems where data quality, lineage, controls, and auditability are required and visible, not implicit.

· Able to reason about domain-driven failure modes (late data, breaks, mismatches, reconciliation issues, regulatory deadlines) and design systems that surface and handle them cleanly.

· Acts as a domain-aware technical partner to segment leads and delivery teams.

· Strong experience designing and building distributed, data-intensive, and event-driven systems in financial services or similarly regulated environments.

· Hands-on experience producing detailed designs and reference implementations and working directly with teams to turn designs into running systems.

· Strong judgment around system behaviour in production, including performance, failure modes, resilience, recovery, and risk isolation.

· Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including managed services, multi-tenant designs, and cost/performance trade-offs.
