Core Responsibilities

- To conduct primary and secondary research on global education data and validate the accuracy of the data to produce meaningful information
- To analyze the data collected to ensure planning, developing and executing various business strategies using the Gradright platform
- To create, develop and maintain various reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics for the data team
- To manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as visualization
- To organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective collaboration with the data analyst team and the senior leadership
- To understand analytical concepts and statistical techniques like hypothesis development, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations as per business requirements
- To solve bugs and data quality issues by proactive collaboration with stakeholders and partners to fix data issues or integrate data into analytics system
- To integrate large volumes of data and connect discrete data points to enable sales analytics
- To own process and systems improvement in different stages of data pipeline
- To communicate findings by developing monthly reports and deliverables to synthesize key findings for Grad Right's senior leadership
- To develop analytical reports and dashboards encompassing data extraction (by querying databases), data transformation (by applying analytical techniques), data cleaning, creating excel based dashboards.
- To tag and annotate conversation data to provide useful information for the tech team

You’re the best fit, if you have

- 2 - 5 years of experience as Business Analyst/Data Analyst/BI Analyst.
- Working knowledge of Mongo/SQL/postgresql and Python for data access and basic transformation, data scraping, manipulation.

- Experience with advanced data manipulation and summarization skills using python and Excel Expert skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Experience in working in data analytics and handling large volumes of data.
- Ability to work directly on databases to provide data analytical queries to Management and MIS for effective management review.
- Experience implementing Reporting, BI, Visualization and Analytics tools such Power BI / Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data to design and deliver meaningful solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and project management skills.
- A never say die attitude and perseverance to get tasks done.
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards.
