Data Engineer

Must have data engineering skills, including building and optimising data pipelines and data models.
Must be proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
Proficiency or knowledge in PySpark is an advantage.

Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience in data engineering or analytics roles within financial services, preferably with exposure to credit card or personal loan products.
Demonstrated experience in delivering data solutions that support business analytics and AI initiatives.

Other capabilities

Experience with AI engineering, including deploying and maintaining AI agents or models, is highly regarded.
Familiarity with other data analysis tools/language such as SAS and data visualisation such as Power BI is also a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Databricks Data Engineer certified is preferred but not mandatory
