About the Role
As Fotello’s Product Marketer for Email and Blog, you will be the bridge between product and the customer’s brain. Your job is to deeply understand what we are building, why it matters, and how to explain it in a way that makes users feel smart, excited, and ready to take action.
You will own two core storytelling channels end to end: lifecycle email and blog content. That means turning product insights into onboarding flows, feature adoption campaigns, launch narratives, educational content, and SEO driven blog posts that bring in the right users and help them win.
What you will do
- Build deep product understanding by partnering with founders, product, and customer success to translate features into clear customer value.
- Plan, write, and execute lifecycle email campaigns including onboarding, activation, feature adoption, win back, upgrades, and newsletters.
- Own product launch email content including positioning, messaging, sequencing, and post launch follow ups.
- Create and manage a blog content engine: product deep dives, workflows, playbooks, comparisons, case studies, and industry education for real estate photographers.
- Drive basic SEO for blog content through keyword research, content briefs, on page optimization, and internal linking.
- Segment audiences and personalize messaging so the right users get the right story at the right time.
- Collaborate with design and growth to package content into high converting assets like landing pages, in app messages, and lightweight visuals.
- Track and improve performance across email and blog using testing and iteration: open rates, CTR, activation, conversions, traffic, and signups influenced.
- Maintain best practices for deliverability, compliance, and content quality standards.
What we're looking for
- Strong writing skills with the ability to explain product value clearly and persuasively across email and long form blog content.
- Mandatory:
Prior experience working in a SaaS company (B2B or B2C).
- Experience with email and content tools such as Hub Spot, Webflow or Word Press, GA4, Search Console, or similar.
- Strong product thinking: you ask why, you map user journeys, and you care about adoption not just announcements.
- Data driven mindset: you test, measure, learn, and iterate.
- Startup DNA: fast moving, resourceful, and comfortable owning outcomes end to end.
