Research Analytics – Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and insights-driven Research Analytics – Specialist with deep expertise in social listening platforms and a passion for transforming data into compelling narratives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of research, strategy, and storytelling; translating digital conversations into actionable intelligence that informs brand positioning, audience engagement, and campaign performance.
Utilize social listening tools (e.g., Cision, Brandwatch, Onclusive) to monitor and analyze digital conversations, uncovering trends, sentiment shifts, and audience behaviors.
Develop and apply analytical frameworks to support brand health tracking, campaign performance evaluation, and competitive benchmarking.
Synthesize large datasets including earned media and financial disclosures (e.g., 1-K reports) into clear, strategic insights and recommendations.
Lead reporting efforts for key launches and initiatives, delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards with high visual impact using Excel and PowerPoint.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in strategy, marketing, PR, and analytics to deliver insights that drive business decisions.
Design and optimize Boolean queries to ensure precise and relevant data capture across platforms.
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital research and social intelligence.
Must-Have Qualifications &
Experience:
This may be the right role for you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in research, analytics, or digital insights roles.
Proven hands-on expertise with social listening platforms:
Cision, Brandwatch, or Onclusive.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
Strong presentation and storytelling skills using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data and translate findings into strategic insights.
Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Desirable Skills & Attributes
Background in media, communications, or marketing analytics.
Proficiency in Boolean logic and custom query building.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience in consumer insights, brand research, or audience segmentation
