The Role:

Hands-On Technical Integrator & Execution Owner

This is NOT a pure management role. You will code, review, integrate, and ship.
We need someone who:
Still writes production code (30-40% of time)
Reviews PRs and challenges technical assumptions
Owns end-to-end integration across AI, Backend, IoT, Robotics
Ships complete systems, not partial components
Enforces documentation and engineering discipline
You're the technical glue that makes our platform work as ONE system.

What You'll Own 1. Technical Execution   Lead daily engineering standups (outcome-focused)
Break down product requirements into integrated work streams
Remove cross-team blockers by solving them yourself
Ensure sprints deliver shippable, integrated outputs
2. Hands-On Contribution  (Mandatory)  Deep expertise in at least ONE:
AI/ML Engineering (deployment, MLOps, data pipelines)
Backend Architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud)
Full-Stack Engineering (React/Node or similar, real-time systems)
IoT/Edge Systems (protocols, device integration)
Robotics Integration (control systems, automation)
What you'll do:
Review and approve PRs
Debug critical production issues
Contribute to architecture decisions
Write code for critical paths/blockers
3. System Integration  (The Critical Gap) Ensure complete workflows work end-to-end:
AI Models → Backend APIs → IoT Devices → Dashboards → Enterprise Clients
Define API contracts between teams
Validate data flow across the stack
Test end-to-end before "done"
Own integration quality (no more finger-pointing)
4. Engineering Standards   Establish API design patterns
Maintain architecture documentation
Enforce CI/CD discipline
Track and reduce technical debt
Ensure engineers document before exiting
Who You Are Must Have:
Background:
4–8 years as a hands-on engineer (actively coding)
Built 0→1 products in funded startups
Led 6-10 engineers technically, not assigning task or delegating message
Technical:
Expert in one domain (AI/Backend/Full-Stack/)
Working knowledge across the full stack
Can debug distributed systems
Understand system architecture & scalability
Mindset:
Challenge assumptions, and Technical jargon excuses:  "Why this approach? Show alternatives"
Enforce accountability:  "Not done until integrated & documented."
Lead by example:
Jump into code when the team is stuck
Practical  Theoretical:
Ship working systems over perfect designs

You no longer write code
You're looking for a "strategic CTO" role with no hands-on coding
You're looking for strategy-only roles
You only have large corporate/MNC experience
You're a pure PM without technical depth
You have a research PhD background but no product shipping experience
Success in First 90 Days  Month 1:  Ship ONE critical end-to-end deliverable
• Map architecture gaps
• Establish daily standups with clear blockers tracking  
• Implement PR review gates
• Define API contracts
• Reduce last-minute failures by 70%
Month 2-3:  Team ships weekly without firefighting
• Technical debt tracked & addressed
• 1-2 internal engineers mentored as future leads
