About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to plan, design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across on-premise data centers and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise network solutions across data center and cloud environments
- Develop solution designs, implementation strategies, and execute network-related projects
- Lead network Proof-of-Concept initiatives and technology refresh programs
- Support Azure cloud networking strategy in collaboration with architecture and security teams
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for network and cloud automation
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Participate in cloud migration and data center consolidation initiatives
- Monitor network performance, maintain KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
- Provide capacity planning and operational support
- Handle critical incidents (P1) including occasional after-hours support
- Document enterprise standards, policies, and best practices
Required Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in enterprise networking
- Strong experience in WAN technologies (MPLS, SDWAN, Express Route)
- Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, EVPN)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst) and Juniper (MX)
- Strong switching knowledge (VLAN, VXLAN, Leaf-Spine, STP, vPC, LACP)
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers
- Azure networking experience (VNet, NSG, Express Route)
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
- Knowledge of Hyper-V networking and virtualized data center environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Azure, Palo Alto) are a plus
