The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Logistics BI team, driving insights and building data solutions to improve decision-making across First Mile, Middle Mile, Cross Border, and Third-Party Logistics (TPL). The Business Analyst will play a critical role in owning and developing BI solutions across various logistics verticals. The role demands strong SQL skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate operational complexities into structured, data-driven insights.
The analyst will work closely with stakeholders in logistics operations and product/tech teams to support business performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple systems.
- Build scalable dashboards, reports, and KPIs for First Mile, Middle Mile, Cross Border, and TPL logistics operations.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to identify bottlenecks, root causes, and opportunities to improve logistics performance.
- Collaborate with operations teams to translate business problems into data solutions.
- Automate recurring reports and manual processes using SQL, GSheet/Excel, and BI tools.
- Support management reviews with timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
- Work with tech teams to improve data pipelines and enhance availability of logistics datasets.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
- 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Data Analyst in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or related domains.
- Strong expertise in SQL (ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large-scale data).
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for quick analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) preferred.
- Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis is a plus, though not mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
- Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
