Role Summary

The Technical Manager – Crew Systems is responsible for leading data migration and transition activities for crew management applications. This role combines strong technical ownership with deep crew-domain understanding and hands-on business engagement, ensuring crews and operations teams are supported through system changes and data cutovers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end data migration for crew management systems, including planning, validation, and cutover
- Own migration strategy, data mapping, reconciliation, and quality assurance
- Work closely with crew operations to hand-hold users through data readiness, UAT, and go-live
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and internal technical teams
- Resolve data-related issues impacting rostering, pairing, qualifications, and compliance
- Ensure data integrity, auditability, and regulatory compliance
- Support post-go-live stabilization and data fixes

Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in crew or workforce management systems
- Strong experience in data migration for COTS / SaaS applications
- Hands-on knowledge of crew data (rosters, pairings, qualifications, rules, seniority)
- Experience working directly with crew operations and planning teams
- Strong understanding of databases, ETL processes, and data validation
- Experience working with OEM vendors
