Spyne is rebuilding the $12B+ automotive software stack from the ground up, giving dealers the AI-powered tools they need to sell more cars, faster. Founded by ex-Amazon, Cox, and OYO operators, Spyne has grown 30x in under three years - from $320K to over $10M ARR - and now serves 1,500+ dealerships across the US.

The company entered the market through  Studio AI , a visual merchandising platform powered by 80+ proprietary AI models that transforms raw car photos into studio-quality images, 360-degree spins, and videos in minutes. Deeply integrated with 60+ dealer tools - from DMS and CRM platforms to major automotive marketplaces - Studio AI became the trusted foundation inside dealer workflows nationwide.

Now Spyne is breaking into a much larger opportunity with  Vini AI , a Conversational Voice AI agent that handles inbound and outbound calls, books test drives, follows up on leads, and manages service appointments - 24/7, without human intervention. Vini bookings have grown 7x in six months, and dealers who add Vini on top of Studio see ACV expansions of 4–7x.

Together, the two products are converging into a full-stack  Retail AI  platform covering inventory management, digital retail, and customer relationship management.
Backed by Accel, Vertex Ventures, and Storm Ventures, Spyne is targeting $50M ARR by end of 2026 - and positioning itself to become the category-defining AI platform for the modern dealership.

Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy:  Define the North Star for Vini. Move beyond "FAQ bots" to autonomous agents capable of complex negotiation and multi-turn scheduling.
Latency & UX Excellence:  Obsess over the "Time-to-First-Token." Partner with Engineering to achieve sub-500ms latency for voice interactions to ensure human-parity conversations.
The Automotive "Brain":  Lead the development of domain-specific $RAG$ systems. Ensure Vini knows more about vehicle specs, financing, and inventory than the average human salesperson.
Ecosystem Integration:  Build deep "plug-and-play" integrations with global Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRMs (Salesforce, Vin Solutions, etc.), Service Schedulers, Inventory Management Systems, etc.
Performance Metrics:  Success isn't measured by "messages sent," but by  Test Drives Booked  and  Lead-to-Appointment Conversion Rates.

Requirements (The "1% Builder" Profile)
Conversational Pedigree:  8+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years specifically in  Conversational AI, Voice AI, or NLP .
Deep Tech Literacy:  You understand the trade-offs between different  STT (Speech-to-Text)  and  TTS (Text-to-Speech)  providers. You know when to use an LLM and when to use a deterministic state machine.
Outcome Obsessed:  You don’t fall in love with the tech; you fall in love with the dealer’s ROI. You have a track record of building products that generate hard revenue.
UX for Voice:  Proven ability to design "invisible interfaces." You understand the nuances of interruptions, backchanneling, and emotional tone in voice AI.
The Startup Engine:  Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment ($Series B+). You move at lightning speed and thrive in ambiguity.
