Bigdata QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Cloud QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies for our big data cloud applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for big data cloud services.

- Develop automated tests using industry-standard tools to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform manual testing when necessary to validate functionality and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and potential issues early in the development lifecycle.

- Analyze and troubleshoot defects, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to the engineering team.

- Ensure data integrity and security in big data environments through thorough validation processes.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the big data and cloud testing space.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in QA testing, specifically for big data and cloud-based applications.

- Strong knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.

- Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or equivalent.

- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
