Role Overview :

As the Manager of R&D Product, you will lead the product development process of the new microbiome-based nutraceuticals and topicals. You will utilize market research data and consumer behavior trends to support new product ideas.

You will be responsible for all stages of product development from inception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the product development strategy and roadmap.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop new product concepts based on customer and market demand.
- Source and manage vendors for raw materials, contract manufacturing, and new product development.
- Identify and onboard ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and development partners.
- Actively research new products, ingredients, and vendors to build the innovation pipeline.
- Ensure timely development of prototypes, stability testing, sensory evaluations, and scale-up for commercialization.
- Create and manage product timelines, budgets, and development plans.
- Evaluate new ingredients, products, and technologies for scientific and commercial viability.
- Ensure all products comply with relevant government and food safety regulations.
- Track achievements, failures, risks, and bottlenecks and present updates in weekly management reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

- Extreme ownership mindset
- 5+ years of proven experience in the Nutraceutical supplements industry.
- Food Technology Background
- Project management & data interpretation skills
- Knowledge of domestic nutraceutical markets
- Scientific acumen and familiarity with nutraceutical, microbiome-based ingredients, and raw materials.
- Knowledge of food science, process technology, and a good understanding of nutrition & food regulations.
- Talent for communicating, influencing, and problem-solving
- Analytical thought process and excellent organizational skills
- Will and ability to travel in India from time to time to manage production sites
