Retail Merchandiser-Export

Job Summary

The Retail Merchandiser Export is responsible for managing export merchandising activities, coordinating with international buyers, handling purchase orders and export billing, and ensuring smooth collaboration with the supply chain. The role focuses on order allocation & replenishment, and timely execution of export orders in line with buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Order & Allocation

- Receive, process, and track purchase orders from export buyers.
- Coordination with different departments for order completion as in merchandising/production supply chain & Finance.

Buyer Coordination & Merchandising

- Coordinate with export buyers for order confirmation, changes, and execution.
- Analysing sales data on style level & size level for replenishments
- Presenting Range for the season to buyers.

Export Billing & Documentation

- Prepare and verify export invoices and related billing documents.
- Ensure accuracy of quantities, pricing, and buyer details in export billing.
- Coordinate with accounts and logistics teams for smooth export documentation.

Supply Chain Coordination

- Coordinate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track production status and resolve issues impacting timelines or quality.
- Support shipment planning and execution as per buyer schedules.

Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain merchandising reports, order trackers, and allocation sheets.
- Ensure compliance with buyer standards and export requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or Commerce.
- 4-6 years of experience in Retail Export Merchandising preferred.
