Job Summary – The primary responsibility is to oversee the daily accounting operations for Art Expressions. Responsibilities include A/R, A/P, invoicing, payroll, and other HR related tasks. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to work with a collaborative office environment. Our office is located in Gurnee, IL.

• Accounting Operations.
• Oversee daily cash management.
• Process and approve all payments (ACH & checks).
• Maintain daily A/P and A/R responsibilities.
• Review and approve quotes and invoicing.
• Oversee all accounting reconciliation.
• Budget Support
• HR Operations.
• Manage onboarding responsibilities.
• Oversee HR matters utilizing Pay Chex Flock.
• Ensure ongoing HR Compliance.
• Complete annual Workers Comp Audit.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze various management reports.
• Forecasting and annual budget review.
• Quarterly/annual budget analysis.
• Oversee accounting technicians’ daily tasks.

• Strong attention to detail – complete work with little to no errors while meeting all deadlines.
• Problem solving – Ability to understand complex problem and develop a solution.
• Communication – strong written and verbal skills and ability to interact with outside clients.
• Analytical – ability to analyze information and make timely decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Quick Books Online and MS Excel.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting roles including supervisory experience.
