Accurate Personnel is hiring for an IT Support Technician to join our client in Gurnee, IL. This individual will be responsible for providing computer and technical support within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT or computer experience and have an understanding of computers, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
Pay, Schedule, and Location- Ranging from $27/hour, paid weekly

- Located in Gurnee, IL
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other workplace technology
- Assist employees with basic computer, software, login, and connectivity issues
- Install and configure computers, software, and peripheral equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Assist with warehouse technology such as printers, scanners, and workstations
- Perform basic maintenance and updates on computer equipment
- Help set up equipment for new employees and workstations
- Keep IT equipment organized and document technical issues and completed work
- Escalate more complex technical problems when necessary
- Provide professional and timely technical support to warehouse and office employees
- Previous experience working with computers or providing basic IT/technical support is required
- Comfortable troubleshooting common computer hardware and software issues
- Basic knowledge of Windows computers, printers, internet/network connectivity, and computer peripherals
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical requests
- Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
- Previous IT experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment is a plus but not required
