Operations Manager

• Starting pay: $65,000 - $75,000 + bonuses!

• Supervise and dispatch move teams daily, coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments.
• Oversee all workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training.
• Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
• Responsible for being an “on‑call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

• A minimum of 3 years of business, management, or other relevant experience is required; TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred.
• Class C license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or another related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, take initiative, develop, and direct people, and be accountable.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre‑employment background check and random drug screens.
• Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Strong decision‑making ability.
