Job Purpose

This is a versatile role that combines hands‑on shop work with crucial operational tasks. The successful candidate will start by providing essential support to our build team and managing our parts inventory. As you develop your skills and demonstrate a commitment to quality, you will be trained in our painting processes with the goal of becoming a full‑fledged painter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organize and retrieve parts for specific jobs, ensuring the right components are available for each build, so deadlines can be met.
  • Place orders for new parts and track deliveries to maintain project timelines.
  • Assist our team of fabricators and installers with various tasks on vehicle builds, providing a smooth and efficient process.
  • Help with prepping vehicles and components for installation and paint.
  • With training and experience, progress to assisting with and eventually performing vehicle painting tasks.
  • Learn how to prep surfaces, mask, sand, and apply paint and clear coats to meet our quality standards.
  • Assist our team of fabricators and installers with various tasks on vehicle builds, adapting to new challenges and project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety.
  • Handle the inventory of all parts and materials, properly stocking and accounting for all items to avoid waste and manage costs.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, additional trade school training preferred.
  • A strong willingness to learn and a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles and parts is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a shop or warehouse environment is beneficial.
  • Must be a reliable team player with a good work ethic.
  • A valid driver's license with a 3‑year history required.
