Quality Control Inspector 2nd shift

MUST have Metal Manufacturing experience.

Monday - Thursday 3:30PM - 2:00AM

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results.

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Inspect in-process product for conformity to blueprints.
• Inspect finished product to Customer requirements.
• Document inspection results.
• Update and maintain quality procedures and records.

Required:

• Experience with reading (understanding / interpreting) manufacturing prints (drawings / blueprints).
• Experience with measuring parts.
• Experience with measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.)
• Worked in a manufacturing environment (sheet metal, welding, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in quality inspection role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Computer experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Metal fabrication experience.
• Experience with ISO 9000 standard and procedures.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience with Statistical Process Control.

Preferred:

• Certified AS9100 Internal Quality Auditor.
• Black Belt/Green Belt in Six Sigma Processing.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Pay Range: $18 - $25/hour.
