$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production Staff and ensuring departmental safety and quality standards are maintained. In addition, this individual will help identify opportunities for improvement and drive their implementation.

• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Coach and mentor production employees to support organization development.
• Train permanent and temporary employees in safety, quality, and basic equipment operation.
• Understand quality requirements and serve as a night shift resource for the quality department for work‑in process and finished goods testing and approval as needed.
• Track and monitor performance to departmental KPIs.
• Perform/monitor inventory transactions within the ERP/WMS systems.
• Participate in Quality investigations and associated CAPA development.
• Participate in Safety investigations.
• Actively participate in and support plant improvement activities.

• Must have good listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to effectively drive production team to meet the departmental expectations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Minimum high school diploma. College degree or related job experience a plus.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• 1-3 years’ experience with ERP systems.

• Extended periods of standing.
• Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds.
