Breadbasket Manager
Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as the Breadbasket Manager! The Breadbasket Manager supports all aspects of our restaurant‑style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.” This includes ordering, meal preparation, presentation, and the meal service experience.
Pay RangeBase Pay: $26.00/hr - $28.50/hr
BenefitsFull‑time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products). Benefits start on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Prescription savings plans. All employees are eligible for 401(k) with employer match. Pay available daily. Eligible for PTO.
Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short‑Term Disability, Voluntary Long‑Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Identity Protection, and Cyber Monitoring. Responsibilities- Order food following Bickford’s process in a timely, cost‑effective manner.
- Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week’s extension menus, week‑at‑a‑glance menus).
- Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
- Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated.
- Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service.
- Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
- Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
- Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician ordered diets, allergies, and preferences.
- Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
- Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
- Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
- Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events.
- High School Diploma or GED; one‑year related experience.
- Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- Serv Safe, CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication. Competent in organizational and time‑management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
