• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make quick business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick-up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions and payment types; locates merchandise; and resolves member issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; helps identify and address roadblocks and provide training.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows open-door policy and applies these in executing business processes.
• Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks opportunities for improvement; and adapts to change and feedback.
