Hyundai Service Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hyundai
Service
Technician to join our service department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai vehicles while meeting dealership quality standards and delivering excellent customer service. Hyundai experience and factory certifications are strongly preferred.

Location: Gurnee, IL 60031
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr-$30.00/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm (some overtime may be required)

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles, including oil changes, brakes, suspension, and steering
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using Hyundai OEM diagnostic tools
• Complete engine, transmission, drivability, and electrical system repairs
• Conduct multi-point inspections and accurately document findings
• Follow Hyundai repair procedures, warranty guidelines, and safety standards
• Communicate repair needs and vehicle status clearly with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Stay current with Hyundai technical service bulletins and training

• Previous experience as an automotive technician (Hyundai experience preferred)
• Hyundai factory training or certifications a plus
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair software
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
