Accounts Executive

Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable  Accounts Executive  with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in core accounting, statutory compliance, reconciliations, payroll support, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on accounting software such as  Zoho Books, Tally, Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, Busy, or similar ERP/accounting platforms .
The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, practical knowledge of GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to maintain accurate books of accounts while supporting audits, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
Experience  2–3 years  of experience in core accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and compliance-related work.
Education  

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred
Proposed CTC Range  ₹4 LPA – ₹6.0 LPA , depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
Key Skills & Competencies  Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, Busy, or similar platforms
Good understanding of GST filing, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, 2A/2B reconciliation, reverse charge mechanism, and input tax credit
Practical experience in TDS workings, TDS return filing, and related compliance
Vendor and customer reconciliation experience
Understanding of payroll workings, including PF, ESI, PT, and TDS on salary
Knowledge of bank payments, bank reconciliation, fund tracking, and cash flow support
Familiarity with fixed asset register maintenance and depreciation entries
Basic understanding of Ind AS concepts
Knowledge of import accounting, customs duty, Bill of Entry, IGST, and related documentation
Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and reconciliations
Ability to prepare MIS reports and support management with accurate financial data
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities  Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely accounting of day-to-day transactions
Finalize ledgers for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
Prepare GST workings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, 2A/2B matching, and RCM calculations
Prepare TDS workings, support TDS return filing, and ensure timely compliance
Process payroll inputs, validate salary workings, and coordinate PF, ESI, PT, and payroll-related statutory compliance
Perform vendor and customer reconciliations, ageing analysis, and follow-up on outstanding balances
Handle bank payments, bank reconciliations, and fund tracking
Maintain fixed asset register and record depreciation entries
Manage import-related accounting entries, including customs duty, BOE, IGST, and related reconciliations
Prepare MIS reports, schedules, and financial data as required by management
Support statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other compliance reviews
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for finance and accounting matters
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record maintenance for all accounting and statutory matters
Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, practical exposure to GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to work independently with accuracy. The candidate should be comfortable using accounting software and Excel, should be proactive in reconciliations and compliance follow-ups, and should be able to support smooth monthly closing and audit processes.
