About the Role
Transcurators is seeking a skilled Content Editor (BFSI) with strong editorial expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience editing finance-driven content such as investment insights, insurance explainers, fintech articles, regulatory updates, and thought leadership pieces. A strong command of English, attention to detail, and understanding of financial terminology are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and refine BFSI-related content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and compliance.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, financial accuracy, and SEO best practices.
- Review content related to banking, insurance, fintech, investments, markets, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with finance writers, subject-matter experts, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality content.
- Repurpose BFSI content for blogs, websites, newsletters, whitepapers, reports, and social media.
- Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and structure across all financial content.
- Fact-check financial data, statistics, and references to ensure credibility and accuracy.
- Provide editorial guidance to writers to improve content quality, structure, and domain understanding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in editing or writing BFSI or financial content.
- Strong understanding of banking, insurance, investments, fintech, and financial markets.
- Excellent command of English grammar, editorial standards, and financial terminology.
- Familiarity with SEO practices for financial content and digital publishing platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.
