TGT (Sanskrit)

DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon
The TGT Sanskrit Teacher is responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students in middle and secondary grades in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment, fostering language proficiency, and promoting an appreciation of Sanskrit literature, culture, and values.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver Sanskrit lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Sanskrit.
Design and implement effective teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance through regular tests, projects, and classroom activities.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage active student participation and collaborative learning.
Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies.
Student Development
Identify and support students requiring additional academic assistance.
Foster critical thinking, communication skills, and cultural awareness.
Guide students in co-curricular and language-related activities, competitions, and events.
Administrative Responsibilities
Attend staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and academic initiatives.
Prepare examination papers, assessment reports, and academic documentation as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Sanskrit or relevant subject.
Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
CTET/TET qualification preferred as per CBSE norms.
Strong command of Sanskrit language and grammar.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
Experience teaching Grades VI to X is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous professional development.
