We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Mathematics Instructor to teach 1st year engineering students. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Engineering Mathematics and the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, practical, and student-friendly manner.
The instructor will be responsible for helping students build a strong foundation in core mathematical topics required for engineering studies, university exams, and future technical subjects.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to 1st year engineering students as per university or institute syllabus.
Cover topics such as Calculus, Differential Equations, Matrices, Linear Algebra, Vector Calculus, Complex Numbers, Probability, Statistics, and related Engineering Mathematics topics.
Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, worksheets, and practice questions.
Explain concepts using engineering-based examples and applications wherever possible.
Conduct regular tests, doubt-clearing sessions, tutorials, and revision classes.
Help students prepare for semester exams and improve their problem-solving skills.
Track student performance and provide regular academic feedback.
Identify weak areas of students and provide additional academic support.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and interactive classroom environment.
Coordinate with the academic team for syllabus planning, batch scheduling, and progress reviews.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
M.Sc. Mathematics /
B.Tech / M.Tech candidates will be preferred.
Prior teaching experience in Engineering Mathematics will be an advantage.
Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of 1st year Engineering Mathematics.
Ability to simplify complex concepts for undergraduate engineering students.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
Good classroom management skills.
Ability to prepare exam-oriented study material and practice problems.
Comfortable with offline and/or online teaching methods.
Preferred Experienc
e3-5 years of teaching experience in Engineering Mathematics
.Experience teaching
B.Tech, B.E., Polytechnic, or university-level mathematics students
