Role Summary

The Co-Teacher will support the Classroom Teacher in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based learning programme aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This is a full-time role supporting teaching, classroom management, assessment, and the overall wellbeing of pupils.

Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of IB PYP lessons and Units of Inquiry.
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Support pupil learning through effective classroom practices.
Assist with formative and summative assessment, documentation, and student portfolios.
Promote the IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.

Essential Requirements
Prior experience in an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) school is mandatory.
Completion of an IB PYP workshop is essential.
Bachelor's degree and a recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent).
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and the IB philosophy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
