School Campus Ambassador

Company Description  Taivas Debate Club is a dynamic platform that helps students develop debate, public speaking, and leadership skills through personalized coaching and structured programs. It supports learners at all levels, from beginners to experienced speakers, preparing them for debate competitions and Model United Nations (MUNs) worldwide. Participants gain practical training in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and effective communication to support both academic and professional growth.

Guided by experienced mentors and a supportive community, Taivas focuses on holistic development, building confidence and leadership alongside debate expertise. Students join Taivas to unlock their potential and become capable, persuasive leaders ready for diverse challenges.
About the Program
Taivas Debate Club and the IIT Bombay Debating Society are jointly hosting the National Speech and Debate Championship, and are inviting students to apply for the role of Campus Ambassador. This is a student outreach and representation opportunity, not a paid employment position.

Role Description
As a Campus Ambassador, you will:
Represent the Championship within your school, college, or city
Promote the competition among peers and help drive student registrations
Share event information through your personal and campus networks (social media, groups, communities, etc.)
Act as the local point of contact for students interested in participating
Coordinate with the Taivas and IIT Bombay Debsoc teams for outreach material and updates
What You Get
A Letter of Recommendation (LOR) and Letter of Appreciation (LOA) issued by the IIT Bombay Debating Society
A performance-based incentive tied to the number of participants you bring in (structure shared with shortlisted ambassadors)
Strong performers will be considered for Taivas's long-term Campus Ambassador Program
The top-performing ambassadors will be invited to Mumbai (travel sponsored, along with a parent/guardian) to join the organizing committee for the finals at the IIT Bombay campus
Who Can Apply
Currently enrolled school students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Active presence in student communities, clubs, or social platforms
Prior experience in debate, MUN, or public speaking is a plus but not mandatory
Self-motivated and comfortable with outreach and follow-ups
