Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated 3D Artist to join our team full-time onsite at Snow Star Games. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing our game worlds and characters to life through 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and asset creation.
Responsibilities
Create optimized 3D models compatible with popular game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity, including characters, environments, props, and assets
Ensure models adhere to technical guidelines for performance and quality, suitable for real-time rendering
Collaborate with the development team to integrate assets seamlessly and maintain visual consistency across projects
Requirements
Blender proficiency is a must – you should be highly skilled in modeling, texturing, lighting, and rigging within Blender
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant experience in creating game-ready assets
Knowledge of optimization techniques for models used in game engines
Familiarity with P workflows, texture creation, and shaders
Good knowledge of shaders and their applications in game engines to enhance visual quality and performance
Good knowledge of Unity Engine and Shader Graph
Qualifications
Proficiency in Blender is mandatory (other tools like Maya, ZBrush, or 3ds Max are a bonus)
Strong experience in 3D modeling
Familiarity with asset integration within game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity
Knowledge of LODs, collision, and game engine specifications
Strong artistic and creative abilities
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset and communication skills
