A patient-facing role in the Healthcare — Outpatient Clinic / Primary Care sector. This on-site position supports day-to-day clinic operations by managing front-desk activities, patient flow, and administrative processes to ensure a high-quality patient experience and efficient clinical operations in India.

Medical Receptionist (On-site, India)
Role & Responsibilities
Greet patients, manage visitor check-in/out, and maintain a welcoming, professional front-desk environment.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the clinic's appointment scheduling system; manage waiting lists and daily provider calendars.
Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information; accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Handle incoming calls, triage basic queries, route calls to clinical staff, and manage the clinic's telephone/auto-attendant system.
Process payments and issue receipts using point-of-sale systems; reconcile daily cash/card transactions and support basic billing follow-ups.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinic protocols for records management, sanitisation of the reception area, and escalations to clinical staff.

Qualifications
Completion of secondary education; vocational training or certification in medical administration or front-desk operations is advantageous.
Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient practice front-desk role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, reliability for on-site shifts, and a service-oriented attitude when interacting with patients and clinical teams.
