What would you do Sourcing Manager for Infrastructure, Software, IT services to collaborate with external clients to develop sourcing strategies across Hardware and Telecom, Software, IT services spend areas including: new hardware purchases, AMC management, infrastructure and telecom services, New Software Purchases and License / Maintenance renewals, Managed Services and Contingent Labour. You will work with global clients to support each company's business goals while achieving optimal commercial structure, quality, and service levels.
In this capacity, you will have substantial involvement in supporting sales and solution design for prospective new client accounts and in helping procurement organizations expand their involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas.
What are we looking for
Strong critical thinker, self-starter who can take the initiative with high-level direction and deliver client work with minimal supervision
Passion for continuous self-learning within the Technology and other industry (i.e. IT, banking, retail, industrial, healthcare, etc.) with end to end software sourcing exposure
Proven analytical skills in terms of numeric (e.g. spreadsheets) and text-based (e.g. reading terms and conditions) analysis, converting information into tangible recommendations to clients
Engineers with Full Time MBA preferred
Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in consulting, sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing global Customers, and suppliers (NA, EMEA, APAC)
Minimum of 5 years of Team Management experience of leading a team of 10+ members
Minimum of 8 years of strategic sourcing, category management, and/or professional industry experience related to the following sub-category areas: o Computing Hardware Desktop, Laptop, Tablet Related Accessories o Enterprise Hardware Server Storage Network o Audio Visual Equipment o Document Output & Print Management o Value Added Reseller (VAR) o Point of Sale o Hardware Maintenance o Telecommunications Services Voice & Data Services Wireless Services & Devices Mobility Management Services o Audio, Web, & Video Conferencing Services o Telecom & Network Equipment o Managed Services Tele-Presence Video Conferencing Mobile Device Management Telecom Expense Management (TEM) o Business Process Management (BPM) o ERP o Operations/ Infrastructure o Business Intelligence (BI) o Security o Content & Collaboration o Customer Relationship Management o Manufacturing o Maintenance & Support Management o Development & Deployment Consulting Services Systems Integration Preferred Supplier Program Mobile App Development o Managed Services Hosting Services Web/Cloud Services Document Output o Contact/Call Center o Outsourcing (ITO/BPO)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across a wide array of leading companies and industries
Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, RFx Management, Risk management/mitigation, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution, leveraging and Agile approach to drive efficiency in execution
Provide industry and supplier research, market intelligence and financial analyses to client.
