DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable deployments across environments.
Manage and optimise our cloud infrastructure on [e. g., AWS/GCP/Azure], with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
Set up and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Use Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate environment provisioning.
Collaborate with engineers to design deployment strategies and improve system observability.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
Take a proactive role in security, backups, failover systems, and disaster recovery planning.
Document Dev Ops processes and build internal tools or dashboards to simplify workflows.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices.
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc. ) and experience with Git workflows.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc. ).
A collaborative mindset - someone who works well across teams and communicates clearly.

Nice To Have

Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
Exposure to compliance or Dev Sec Ops  practices.
Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Kubernetes) - not mandatory, but a bonus.
Experience in fast-moving startups or mission-driven tech companies.
