ISS Delivery provides the design and delivery of all changes in processes and/or technology solutions that support the growth for Fidelity's Global Investment Solutions & Services business (ISS). We support Investment Management, Asset Management Operations and Distribution team primarily located in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Australia, Singapore and China.

Fidelity ISS business is continually evolving in response to market demands, client expectations, and the increasing sophistication of investment strategies. This role sits within the ISS Delivery team, which partners closely with our global regulatory reporting teams and statutory reporting teams to deliver system solutions to support regulatory and statutory reporting obligations for Fidelity's fund products and Fidelity's reporting obligations as an Asset Manager.

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Asset and Investment Management data, data platforms and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Regulatory Reporting, Fund Accounting and Operations teams to deliver technology solutions that support end-to-end regulatory and statutory reporting processes while aligning with regulatory requirements. The Technical Business Analyst will have a well establish understanding of the project delivery lifecycle and play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and system solutions.

You will be responsible for analysing, designing, and implementing system solutions which provide comprehensive system capabilities, enabling the business to meet reporting obligations across global jurisdictions.

Your key accountabilities

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Conducting in-depth, high quality business analysis, covering detailed requirements, system specifications, process mapping, and comprehensive documentation to support the delivery of effective and scalable technology solutions.
Acting as a subject-matter expert for system applications within the Regulatory and Statutory Reporting domain, partnering with business stakeholders and senior users to shape, refine and prioritise initiatives.
Working in partnership with developers and technical architects to deliver and integrate solutions into the existing system landscape, align with Fidelity architectural and engineering principles and follow industry best practices.
Collaborating closely with technology teams (architects, engineers and fellow business analysts) and operational teams across global locations to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with strategic business objectives.
Driving enhancements across regulatory and statutory systems and associated business processes.
Managing the full delivery lifecycle of a system solution delivery, including analysis, solution design, testing and implementation, ensuring clear and effective communication between the business stakeholders and development team.
Contributing to project planning, timeline and effort estimation, action plans, issue and risk management, ensuring consistent application of project delivery best practices.
Staying current on industry trends, evolving regulatory changes and analysis techniques, to ensure solutions remain relevant and compliant.
Engaging and interacting with third party partners and suppliers when required.

Essential Skills and Experience    In depth experiences as a Business Analyst within Asset Management and Investment Banking, ideally with focus on supporting regulatory reporting functions.
Strong understanding of the Asset Management data domains and the system architectures that underpin the industry.
Familiarity with industry and market regulations governing financial services.
Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, data analysis and solutions design for intelligence layer based systems and reporting environments.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business requirements, and to design, recommend and facilitate effective solutions.
Hands-on experience across full project delivery life cycles and methodologies, including collaboration with global offshore teams.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, facilitation and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of process ownership, data quality management, controls and audit trail requirements.
Sound technical understanding of data platforms, data hubs, data alignment practices, efficient system architecture and future-proof solution design.

Desirable Skills and Experience    Practical experience of working with agile/waterfall software development methodologies.
Exposure to Oracle or similar relational database.
