Senior Technical Consultant, App Dev

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions for an array of technologies. You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality.
A Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced field professional, who combines a breadth of knowledge across open-source and cloud technologies with a proven track record of delivery. They are expected to lead engagements and exhibit a high degree of commercial awareness along with mature communication skills. The Senior Technical Consultant is highly experienced in designing, developing and deploying integration solutions with external third party tools.

You will work with customer service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups and participate in customer engagements, demonstrations and meetings in a professional and courteous manner.

Roles and Responsibilities
Participate on project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies
Ability to architect open-source and cloud related technology solutions involving such challenges as storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, development operations and security
Participate in pre-sales cycle as technical expert including assisting Sales, System Engineers and Professional Services teams to drive open-source and cloud technologies adoption and maturation
Provide thought leadership to Ahead and our customers
Lead customer requirements and design to achieve customers business goals
Communicate with customers, which may include top management, on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advising
Lead a team of technical delivery resources
Lead development and testing activities
Lead in the architecture and design of complex solutions
Lead the creation of written deliverables
Lead client demos and working sessions
Lead integration design sessions and deployment
Participate as technical expert in client workshops
Influence direct team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices and procedures
Achieve high team standards. Contribute to the refinement of methodology and best practices to establish quality and effectiveness
Understand performance, scaling and functional characteristics of software technologies
Mentor junior staff and support project leadership
Obtain and maintain certifications with associated qualifications
Qualifications
Customer facing role for minimum of 5+ years
5+ years designing, securing and deploying large-scale applications and solutions

Experience with one of the major cloud vendor environments (development, access, migration)
5+ years' experience in Dot Net core and React
Effectively communicate with, and present to all levels of the organization
Subject matter expert in at least one open-source and cloud technology
Architect level development skills in Dotnet
Architect level development skills in at least one messaging protocol (e.g., Kafka, Rabbit

MQ, JMS, etc.)
Strong skills integrating third party tools and solutions
Strong project and situational awareness
Strong attention to detail
