Data Architect

Core Requirements


Experience:

8+ years in Data Engineering or Architecture, with at least 5 years
of focused experience in formal Data Modeling.
 Modeling Frameworks:
Mastery of Relational (OLTP) and Dimensional
(OLAP) modeling. Knowledge of modern approaches like Data Vault 2.0 or
Wide-Column modeling is highly preferred.
 Tooling Expertise:
Expert-level use of data modeling tools such as ER/Studio,
Erwin, or Lucid Chart/dbdocs for documentation.

 Advanced SQL:
Ability to write and optimize complex queries, stored
procedures, and triggers across multiple dialects (e.g., Postgre

SQL, Snowflake,
SQL Server).
 Systems Thinking: A deep understanding of how data moves—from ingestion
(ETL/ELT) to storage and finally to consumption (BI/Apps).
Feature Requirement

Modeling Depth

Proficiency in 3NF, Star/Snowflake schemas, and Slowly Changing
Dimensions (SCD).

Cloud
Infrastructure

Experience designing for cloud-native warehouses (e.g., Big Query,
Redshift, Snowflake).

Performance
Tuning

Expertise in indexing strategies, partitioning, and execution plan
analysis.

Collaboration

Proven ability to translate 'business speak' into technical ERDs
(Entity Relationship Diagrams).
