As Sr. Administrator - Windows , you have to provide high-level technical expertise in the area of Windows Server administration and Active Directory. This individual would be responsible for implementing & enabling IT strategies defined by senior management in order to achieve the organizational objectives. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and G+D corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and critical environment.
You need to develop the strategy and ensure the operation, integration into the infrastructure services and interact with the business to ensure a maximum of usability.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assumption of system responsibility as well as administration and configuration tasks in a Windows system environment
Support in the context of incident, problem and change management for the supported Microsoft systems
Ensure availability of the systems is 100% and all security & compliance related topics are addressed.
Should possess good analytical & troubleshooting skills and be able to collaborate with other teams to fix issues.
Execution of Windows server installations, upgrades, migrations, system setups
Deep understanding of Windows Servers, Active Directory and other Infrastructure roles (DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server). Knowledge in PKI topics would be desirable.
Experience with Azure administration would be an advantage
Monitoring of the Windows environment for any issues.
Hands-on experience in Active directory User & Computers, Group Policy and Distributed File System (DFS).
Knowledge and understanding of Scripting languages (Power Shell preferred)
Performance and error analyses as well as tuning measures to ensure that the agreed service level targets are met.
Creation and maintenance of documentation
Knowledge on ITSM
Technical know-how:
Should have technical knowledge on following:
Windows Server 2019, 2022, 2025 Administration
Active Directory & Group Policies
DNS, DHCP, DFS, Terminal Services
Power Shell
Basics of Virtualization, Storage & Networking domains
Integration with Monitoring, Backup, SIEM, Orchestration Tools
Relevant Experience (in yrs.) 4 to 6 Years Overall Experience 6 to 9 years
