Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Leader with 10–15 years of experience in Banking Analytics and strong SQL expertise. The candidate will lead analytical initiatives, drive data-driven decision-making, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver actionable insights across banking functions such as Retail Banking, Lending, Risk, Deposits, Digital Banking, and Customer Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end analytics projects for banking business units.
Translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
Design and develop complex SQL-based data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions.
Drive strategic analytics initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Partner with senior business stakeholders to define KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
Build and oversee dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.
Conduct customer, portfolio, product, and risk analytics.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with banking regulations.
Mentor and guide junior analysts and analytics teams.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Technology, Risk, Finance, and Business teams to deliver scalable analytical solutions.
Business & Analytical Responsibilities
Portfolio performance analysis.
Customer segmentation and behavioral analytics.
Profitability and revenue analytics.
Campaign effectiveness measurement.
Risk and delinquency trend analysis.
Cross-sell and upsell opportunity identification.
Executive-level KPI reporting and dashboard development.
Data-driven business strategy recommendations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Manage interactions with senior leadership and business heads.
Lead requirement gathering and solution discussions.
Drive prioritization and delivery of analytical initiatives.
Mentor team members and establish analytics best practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Preferred Experience
10–15 years of analytics experience with at least 5+ years in Banking/Financial Services.
Experience managing analytics teams and large-scale data initiatives.
Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and KPIs.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior management.
